  • What types of deeds do you offer?

    Warranty Deed:  Warranty deeds are used to add or remove owners of property by gift or sale, including a warranty of title by the transferor. 


    Quitclaim Deed:   Quitclaim deeds are used to add or remove owners of property by gift or sale, not including a warranty of title by the transferor. 


    Lady Bird Deed:  A form of deed that is used to transfer property to a specific person or trust, but only upon the death  of the owner. 


    Life Estate Deed:  A deed used to grant lifetime use of property to another person, or to reserve lifetime use of property to the owner. 


    Trust Deed:  A form of warranty or quitclaim deed to add property to an existing trust.

  • What is the process to obtain a new deed?

    These are the steps to obtain your deed:


    1.  Complete a "Deed Worksheet" on this page.


    2.  Schedule a video consultation by using our online calendar


    3.  Sign a fee agreement and pay your invoice.


    4.  Review your documents in our secure client portal. 


    5.  Schedule a video conference to sign your documents by using our remote notary service.


    After your documents are signed, we will record your deed with the county register of deeds, and provide you with a recorded copy by email.  We will also file the necessary tax documents with the city, township or village in which the property is located.
