Power of Attorney

A power of attorney is a document in which a person (referred to as the "principal") grants authority to another person (referred to as the "agent") to conduct financial transactions on his or her behalf.  The principal may revoke or modify the agent's authority at any time.  Powers of attorney may include very broad powers (i.e. a "general" power of attorney) or they may be limited to specific transactions.
