Last Will & Testament

A last will & testament is a document that is used to provide instructions to distribute property that is subject to probate proceedings. A will may only be used after it is "admitted" by a probate court upon receipt of proof that the document is authentic and was signed by a deceased person in accordance with statutory requirements.  Learn more about probate.
