A Gun Trust, often called an NFA Gun Trust, is a designed to take legal ownership of firearms and certain firearms and  accessories, particularly those regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA) and the Gun Control Act of 1968. Gun Trusts are also used streamline inheritance, avoid probate, and enhance privacy with respect to firearms.
